Associated Independent Advisers (AIA) Cambridge Ltd was first established in 1988 and we built an excellent reputation for providing the very best mortgage and financial advice in the region. Then, through a twist of fate several years later, we began to foster a partnership with the Yorkshire Building Society (YBS).
We are proud to say we are the proprietors of your local YBS agencies in Cambridge, St Ives (Cambs), St Neots and Flitwick. YBS agencies are very similar to YBS branches. For many years YBS has partnered with trusted businesses such as ours so that more customers can manage their money with us face-to-face in many more places. YBS agencies offer you the same excellent service you would expect in any YBS branch and are located in the heart of communities.
Yorkshire Building Society is a mutual organisation, so by opening an account you become a member and have a say in how the business is run. Unlike banks, the Society has no shareholders to satisfy so can focus instead on members’ needs.
We also partner with the Mortgage Advice Bureau and have our own Mortgage & Protection Advisers who are able to offer expert mortgage advice alongside our savings opportunities. We are proud to be the ones to take care of you and your finances, whenever you might need us.

Tony Rule
Tony initially started out in teaching, before moving into the financial services industry where he has since developed an extensive career. Running his own business since 1987, Tony started out as a Financial Adviser, before later partnering with the Yorkshire Building Society (YBS), and prides himself on ensuring that his customers and the relationships he builds with them, are truly at the heart of everything he does. He is a keen sportsman, playing an active role in both football and rugby clubs locally to Cambridge, as well as completing two marathons.

Calum Chapple
Calum is an experienced people manager with a strong background in the financial services industry. Calum works hard to grow the savings balances within our YBS Agencies while also ensuring our team delivers an outstanding customer experience for every customer that passes through our doors. As well as managing to running of the business, Cal is also a fully qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser helping customers find their new or next home.

Laura Clifton
Laura has over a decade of experience as a senior marketing professional, working within the technology sector in and around Cambridge and London. With experience in setting up new teams, company re-branding and detailed budget and planning management, Laura enjoys the challenge that marketing a business can bring. A keen runner, having completed several full and half marathons, Laura also enjoys interior design and has spent many of her recent years renovating properties with her family.
